APP part of EFP Industry Screenings in NY

June 11, 2013

Dutch feature film App will be presented as part of the European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Industry Screenings in New York. On June 25th and 26th a total of six films will exclusively be screened to US buyers and industry professionals at the screening room of the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City. The line-up demonstrates a broad spectrum of what European cinema currently has on offer. All films are seeking US distribution, and the sales representatives will be in attendance. The NY Industry Screenings are part of EFP´s Films Sales Support (FSS) scheme, backed by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.

In the multi-media thriller, App, Dutch director Bobby Boermans draws the viewers into a mysterious world and enhances the movie-going experience with additional footage available on your cell phone during the screening. The film is written by Robert A. Jansen and produced by 2CFilm. High Point media Group handle the international sales.

EFP’s special Industry Screenings assist European films in finding US distribution. Following the Industry Screenings in New York in June 2012, three of the six presented films were successfully sold to the US.
