SUGAR wins two awards at Clermont
Dutch short film SUGAR by Jeroen Annokkeé (sceenplay by Dennis van de Ven & Jeroen Annokkeé) has won two awards last Saturday at the International Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, France. The film received the Audience Prize and the "Fernand Raynaud" Award for Best Comedy.
In SUGAR Bert's scantily dressed neighbour pops in to borrow some sugar. When she lets the sugar slip from her hands, things suddenly take an unexpected turn.
The film is produced by LEV Pictures. SUGAR was made in the series NTR Kort! 2010 and went in premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht last September.
SUGAR is the second film by Jeroen Annokkeé that got selected for the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Filmfestival. In 2003 his short film ROADKILL was selected in the International Competition of the festival.
