Strong Dutch presence at Chicago CIFF

A large number of Dutch films have been selected for the 30th edition of the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
The festival is the largest film festival for children in North America
with over 280 films from 50 countries. The Festival takes place October
25th to November 3rd 2013.
Two Dutch feature length films have been selected for the festival. Mike Says Goodbye!, directed by Maria Peters and produced by Shooting Star Filmcompany, will be screened on Sunday October 27nd. My Dad’s a Detective: The Battle, directed by Will Wissink and produced by A’dam Films, is shown on Tuesday October 29th.
There will be nine short films and documentaries screening at the festival: Sweet Love by Albert-Jan van Rees, Sounds for Mazin by Ingrid Kamerling, Father Wanted … with a Piggy Nose by Annalies Kruk, Straight With You by Daan Bol, Dancing with Style by Xander de Boer, Cap or Kippah by Susan Engels, Nadia’s Tics by Laetitia Schoofs, One-Way Ticket to Bussum by Renee Wilna Span and Jan’s Mom by Anneloor van Heemstra.
