Silent City on tour across the USA

Dutch feature film Silent City by Threes Anna will go on tour across the United States in September. The film will be screened in a large number of cities. Film Festival Flix, the distributor that offers the independent film festival community in the US to see exclusive film festival selected films both in theaters and online, will bring the film to arthouse cinemas throughout the country.

The tour begins September 11 in Los Angeles, followed by cities including New Orleans, Denver, Salt Lake City, Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco and Palm Springs. Director and writer of Silent City Threes Anna will be present with a large part of the screenings of her film and will be available for Q&A’s with the audience.

After the tour kicks off in LA, Silent City can be screened online on the Film Festival Flix website by viewers in America and in October the film will also be made available On Demand in the US, by cable companies and Netflix.

Silent City, a Keyfilm production, had its world premiere at the San Sebastian International Film Festival last year and has since been presented at many international film festivals and has been sold to 32 countries. The film is based on Threes Anna’s novel by the same title and tells the story of Rosa, a young European woman who braves the harsh loneliness of Tokyo in order to master the Japanese art of filleting fish.
