Ne Me Quitte Pas selected for Tribeca 2014

Ne Me Quitte Pas, a Dutch documentary directed by Sabine Lubbe Bakker & Niels van Koevorden, is selected for the World Documentary Feature Competition at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 12 films in this section are competing for Best Documentary Feature, Best New Documentary Director, and Best Editing.
Ne Me Quitte Pas (Don’t Leave Me) is produced by Pieter van Huystee Film, in co-production with Storyhouse Film (BE) and Studio Godot (NL). The film is a Direct Cinema portrait of the Flemish Bob and the Walloon Marcel, two
Belgian friends who share loneliness, humor, alcoholism and suicide
plans with great élan. Ne Me Quitte Pas had its world premiere at IDFA.
The Irish/Dutch co-production The Canal by director Ivan Kavanagh will have its world premiere in the Midnight section of Tribeca. The film is produced by Park Film (Ireland) in co-production with the Netherlands' based CTM and stars Dutch actresses Hannah Hoekstra (Hemel, App) and Anneke Blok (Winter in Wartime).
The Canal is a horror film about film archivist David and his wife who move into a house with a dark past. When a secret shatters their marriage David is driven to madness.
The 13th Tribeca Film Festival will take place from April 16 to April 27 2014.
