MAD ABOUT TRUFFLES is set in the black truffle kingdom of the world: Provence in the south of France. The ‘black diamond' truffle is the magical centre of a unique world populated by diverse people. Their devotion and dedication to this illusive fungus which rises from below is what unites them. The film shows how the truffle enchants the senses, incites dreams and has become a jewel of haute cuisine.
