Les Nuits du Cinéclub Néerlandais
October 3, 2013
Cinéclub Néerlandais presents several Dutch films at the well known Action Christine cinema in Paris from October 10 to 12. The special programme called Les Nuits du Cinéclub Néerlandais includes two feature films and several short films.
Both features will have their French premiere: festival favourite and awardwinning Matterhorn by Diederik Ebbinge and It's All So Quiet by Nanouk Leopold. The latter stars actor Jeroen Willems, who passed away last December, in one of his last and best roles. The screening of It's All So Quiet will be preceded by the short film Sale by Nicole van Kilsdonk. The animated film History of Pets by Kris Genijn is the short screened before before Matterhorn.
There will also be a special presentation of mid lenght films, which includes Tomas Kaan's Days of Grass and Anvers by Martijn Maria Smits. These films will be shown after Mute, the latest animated film by Job, Joris and Marieke, a trio well known for their music videos.
The Dutch Filmclub Nights are organised in collaboration with Eye International, Netherlands Insitute for Animated Films (NIAF),
