Land of Promise
An impressionistic view of immigration as a radical force across Europe, using archival footage. The film focuses on the experiences of migrants, those in transit and those already here, who encounter a world they know but one that threatens to elude them. Immigration always brings conflict. These frictions, however, are signs of integration as they show different answers to the core question: how should we live with our differences? LAND OF PROMISE tells an uncomfortable story, but ultimately a hopeful one.
