Kaboom Industry Days 2021

On the 29th and 30th of March 2021 Kaboom Animation Festival organizes the Kaboom Industry Days in a fully online set-up. The Industry Days celebrate the broad Dutch and international animation industry with talks, workshops, panels and presentations with (inter)national experts and film makers.

The first day focusses on the bright future of Dutch animation and has talks and panels about anmimation education and international collaboration. Among others Timothy Guy Leborgne will introduce how Animation Sans Frontières, a lecture and workshop-based training program, works as a network and system of international collaboration. Furthermore Annick Teninge, director of La Poudrière Animation Film School, will present the school and its educational profile. And Tonje Skar Reiersen will talk aboutthe branding strategy and achievements of Nordic Animation, an initiative that aims to strengthen the ties between animation producers from the Nordic countries.
Day two of the Kaboom industry Days is all about the young animation professionals and will feature among other things a debutante ball for 2020/2021 graduates and the presentation of the Dutch yearbook, an overview of key animation projects that have been realised in the Netherlands in the past year.
