Joy by Mijke de Jong
Joy - Joy's life has been dedicated to searching her mother

An intimate film about Joy, abandoned as a baby, whose whole life has been dedicated to the search for her mother.

Joy, an emotionally damaged seventeen-year old girl, has only one thing left to hope for in life: finding her biological mother. Her search is successful, but the enormous disappointment it produces is so hard to bear that she opts for the most radical way out.
