Heads Together Wins Emmy Kids Award

Dutch animated short Heads Together, directed by Job, Joris en Marieke and produced by Viking Film has won the Emmy Kids Award for Best Animation. The 7th International Emmy Kids Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday 9 April 2019 in Cannes.
In Heads Together, three friends exchange heads by accident and are forced to adapt to the lives of one another. Will they be able to keep it secret? And will they ever get their own head back?
Heads Together previously won prizes such as Best Short Film at the New York International Children’s Film Festival (2017), Best Kids Film at the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (2017) and Best Animation at the Snake Alley Festival of Film (USA, 2017).
Job, Joris en Marieke have received numerous awards for their animation work. Their animated short A Single Life received a nomination at the 2015 Oscars in the Animated Short Film category. It also won 11 awards, including the Audience Award Best Short Film at the 2015 Anima Mundi Animation Festival (Brazil) and Best Animated Short at the San Fransisco International Film Festival.
