Five Dutch Films at SXSW

No less than two feature length documentaries and three VR productions from the Netherlands have been selected for the SXSW Film Festival. The festival takes place 8-17 March 2019.
Bellingcat — Truth in a Post-Truth World, directed by Hans Pool (prod. Submarine) has been selected for Documentary Spotlight. This film explores the exclusive world of the "citizen investigative journalists" collectively known as Bellingcat.
Sakawa is co-produced by Dutch producer Pieter van Huystee Films. Directed by Ben Asamoah, the documentary will screen in Visions. It is a film about unemployed youth in Ghana who practice internet fraud with the help of voodoo religion.
Furthermore, three Dutch VR productions have been selected for the Virtual Cinema Competition. These productions include Ahorse! (Wendy Gutman), Diorama No.4: Die Fernweh Oper (Daniel Ernst) and Incitement (Wiebe van der Ende).
