Dutch Winners at Anima Brussels 2019

12 March 2019

No less than four Dutch animated films have been awarded at the 2019 edition of the Anima Brussels Festival.

Reruns
, directed by Rosto, won the Anima Grand Prix 2019 for Best International Short Film. Sadly, Rosto passed away just two days before the closing ceremony of the festival. Reruns is the fourth and final part of the Thee Wreckers Tetralogy. By winning the Grand Prix, Reruns will be eligible for an Oscar in the Best Animated Short Film category.

Floor Adams took home the Audience Award for Best Short Film with her Mind My Mind. Furthermore the Best Student Short Film was awarded to Jorn Leeuwerink’s Bloem?.

From the Snow-Covered Hill, directed by Matty Jorissen and Wijnand Driessen, was awarded with the RTBF – La Trois Award.
