Audition keeps winning prizes

May 8, 2014

With its release in 2011, the short Film Audition, embarked upon a beautiful journey at various film festivals, during which it was rewarded with several awards.

Three years later, the film is still making the rounds at the short film circuit. Yesterday, the film received the Silver Award at the Robinson International Short Film Competition in Pittsburgh (PA), USA.

The Robinson Film Award Gala is an annual event that is held to commemorate Sanford N. Robinson, Sr. a respected entrepreneur in Pittsburgh.

Filmmaker Udo Prinsen was in attendance to receive the award. He is very honored with the nomination and the award.

The film is about a young trumpet player who has to audition for the camp orchestra in Auschwitz.  Accompanying course material to Audition for use in classroom settings has been developed by Human Rights in the Picture.
