6 Dutch youth films at Vienna Intl’Children’s FF

The upcoming edition of the Vienna International Children’s Film Festival is quite a Dutch one. No less then six family films from the Netherlands will be presented at the Austrian festival.

Dutch feature film Bennie Brat has been selected to open the Vienna International Children’s Film Festival. Last week the  movie by Johan Nijenhuis (produced by Nijenhuis & Co and Farmhouse Film & TV) won a the award for Best Film at the Bykov International Festival of Films for Children and Youth in Armenia.

The other award winning Dutch films that will be presented in Vienna are: Cool Kids Don’t Cry by Dennis Bots, Taking Chances by Nicole van Kilsdonk, the Dutch submission to the Oscars Kauwboy by Boudewijn Koole, and by Mischa Kamp Tony 10 and Where is Winky’s Horse.

The 24th Vienna International Children's Film Festival will be held from November 17 to December 4, 2012.
