Buitenkampers, the color of survival is produced by Holland Harbour Productions. World Sales are handled by Films Transit International.
Buitenkampers, the color of survival
profiles the Indo-European children who, because of their mixed blood,
lived outside the Japanese camps with their mothers but received no
protection against the young Indonesian freedom fighters. The
Indo-Europeans were regarded as collaborators with the white, Dutch
colonialists and were subsequently regarded as easy targets for the
young rebels during the War of Independence.
The Crystal Film is
a prize for Dutch documentaries for more than 10.000 tickets sold. The
prize is presented by the Netherlands Film Festival and the Netherlands
Film Fund since 2001 and is intended to encourage the Dutch film
industry and motivate the general public to go and see Dutch films.
Fiction feature films that attract 100.000, 400.000 and 1.000.000
visitors receive the Golden/Platinum/Diamond Film Award.
