Diederik Ebbinge’s debut film Success has been awarded the ‘Prix du Rire’ for Best Comedy Film at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (January 31 – February 7, 2009). Success is part of the Dutch short film series NPS KORT!

The absurdist tragicomedy Success tells the story of a man who scores a personal success on the day of his death. The festival jury praised Ebbinge with the fact that within ten minutes the film shows both the humour and the tragedy of life.

The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France is the largest and most important short film festival in the world.
Success is produced by IDTV Film and broadcasted in the Netherlands by NPS Television. The short film is sold to various countries, including France, Poland, Spain and Japan by SND Films.
