Scum wins Best European Film prize
The Dutch feature film Scum by director and writer Heinrich Dahms has been awarded the Best European Film prize at the Ireland International Film Festival.
Scum was nominated as one of 300 entries, from 32 countries and became the winner in the category of Best European Film during the awards ceremony at the historic Knocklofty estate in County Tipperary, Ireland.
On September 28 Scum will premiere during the Netherlands Film festival in Utrecht (September 23 – October 1, 2009).
Scum deals with a current issue in our contemporary society: random violence and substance abuse amongst small-town youth. The film is produced by Michèle Aimé for BUZZMEDIA NETWORK.
