Red-End wins at Cinanima

The Dutch short stopmotion animation film Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society by Robin Noorda and Bethany de Forest won the Prize for Best Short Film at the 33d edition of the International Animated Film Festival Cinanima in Espinho, Portugal. The festival took place from November 9-15, 2009.

Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society was also part of the opening programme of the Holland Animation Film Festival on November 4th, 2009. At this festival, the film has won a MovieSquad Award in the category animation.

In Red-End and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society ant Red-End differs from the rest and tries an experiment. The film is set in an unusual fairylike world.

Red-End was made to be shown in the extremely high resolution 4K and takes part in the international Cinegrid Network.

Bethany de Forest and Robin Noorda work as visual artists, filmmakers, designers and animators.
