DON’T TOUCH MY CHILDREN wins at NY

Dutch feature film DON’T TOUCH MY CHILDREN, directed by Ron Termaat, has won the Audience Choice Award at the Stoney Brook Film Festival (New York). The festival took place July 21 – 30.

Actress Karina Smulders, who also starred in last year’s Stony Brook Opening Night film BRIDE FLIGHT, received the Outstanding Performance Award. In DON’T TOUCH MY CHILDREN she plays the role of a mother whose children are abducted to Syria by her ex-husband, and taken to his family home. She does everything possible to get them back.

DON’T TOUCH MY CHILDREN  is a Talent United production and is based on the true story of Janneke Schoonhoven’s fight to get her children back. Various distributors have shown interest in releasing the movie in US theatres.
