Docs from The Netherlands at IDFA 2017

Dutch creative documentaries are strongly represented at the 30th Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival (15 - 26 November), with more than fifty Dutch productions and co-productions in various sections.

No less than twenty-seven films and productions from the Netherlands have been selected for various IDFA competitions and all of these films will have their world premiere at the festival.

The Long Season by Leonard Retel Helmrich (produced by Pieter van Huystee Film) and The Red Soul by Jessica Gorter (produced by Zeppers Film) have been selected for the IDFA Feature-Length Competition.

Selected for the IDFA Mid-Length Competition is Back to the Taj Mahal Hotel, directed by Carina Molier and produced by Witfilm.

Instant Dreams by Willem Baptist produced by Pieter van Huystee Film is selected for the IDFA Competition for First Appearance.

Love Letters by Tara Fallaux (Halal Docs) will be screened in IDFA Competition for Short Documentary.
