CAT AND MICE BY NOVA VAN DIJK DUTCH SUBMISSION ACADEMY AWARD BEST LIVE ACTION SHORT FILM

The Dutch short film CAT AND MICE by Nova van Dijk will be submitted for the Academy Award Best Live Action Short Film. The film is produced by Keren Cogan Productions within Phanta Vision Producers Label. The film will have its worldpremiere at the upcoming Netherlands Film Festival.

CAT AND MICE is a film about a peculiar boy named Jonas, who makes a living by kidnapping cats and returning them to their owners once a reward has been offered. He lives in his own world, a house full with cats and jazz music. Upon returning home one day with a flyer of a missing girl instead of a missing cat, his life changes dramatically.

On 25 January 2011, the nominations for Best Live Action Short Film Award will be announced. The Oscars will be awarded on February 27, 2011.
