CAT AND MICE best short at Palm Springs 2011

The Dutch short film CAT AND MICE by Nova van Dijk has won the award for Best Live Action Short Film at Shortfest, the International Short Filmfestival of Palm Springs. The festival took place June 21 - 27, 2011. The film is produced by Keren Cogan Productions within Phanta Vision Producers Label.

CAT AND MICE is a film about a peculiar boy named Jonas, who makes a living by kidnapping cats and returning them to their owners once a reward has been offered. He lives in his own world, a house full with cats and jazz music. Upon returning home one day with a flyer of a missing girl instead of a missing cat, his life changes dramatically.
